Say hello to the ProjektSIX prototype commission, #000, which has been boldly given the name: “JADED”. This commission built Porsche 911 started life as a 1986 3.2 Carrera. It has been completely transformed and revisioned from the ground up, inside and out, into what we here at ProjektSIX believe combines the best of both worlds and the perfect balance of retro design with modern performance technology.

This Bespoke Built 911 is finished in an extremely rare original Porsche color: Jade Green (aka: Hellgrün) with a bold contrasting Aubergine interior utilizing a new high end alcantara-like suede fabric called Dinamica. In this modernized cabin, you’ll be invited by a stunning combination of Dinamica and Satin Carbon Fiber finished surfaces. While feeling right at home in the extremely comfortable and form fitting Sparco SPX Carbon seat, you’ll find your hands wrapping around this factory 991.2 GT3 steering wheel. Even with the modern feel of the seats and steering wheel, you’ll still feel the visceral experience of not only hearing the 3.4L Supercharged Flat Six engine behind you, but also shifting through the gears with your right hand on the 917K style stained wooden shift knob.

Not to worry though. This Porsche is not just for show and go…we have also made sure you have all the modern creature comforts you’re used to that will make it more than comfortable to take on long cruises up the coast. Not only is the interior cabin extremely insulated, it is also equipped with an upgraded Fully Electric Air Conditioning system, LED lit gauge cluster, power windows, touch-screen navigation with bluetooth connectivity and even a wireless phone charging pad in the center console.

Mechanically, there was no expense spared with this build, and every other commission build moving forward. We consider this commission build to be our “Touring” spec, which is a perfect blend of sport and touring. Starting with the engine, we have partnered with Ed Pink Racing Engines (famously known for the classic Singer Reimagined Porsche engines) to develop something truly unique and special for our platform. This aircooled flat-six engine has been punched up from a 3.2L to a 3.4L paired with a Rotrex Supercharger, 964 crankshaft, 964 aluminum intake plenum and fully built and upgraded internals. Expect a power output of approximately 380-400 horsepower with this set up. A ProjektSIX signature mechanical design element you’ll notice on all of our commissions moving forward, is the Titanium bumper exit exhaust tips coming from a fully custom fabricated X-Pipe or GT3 Style exhaust system mated to a set of stainless steel Bursch headers to give it that true motorsport flat-six symphony of sounds. To make sure this power gets transferred to the pavement sufficiently, we’ve eliminated the factory torsion bar suspension and converted this chassis to full Coilover suspension set up and we’ve partnered with MOTON Suspension Technology to supply us with a 2 way adjustable Coilover system with external reservoirs. Combining the MOTON Coilovers with the fully developed 997 GT3 Adjustable Suspension set up from Elephant Racing, this will provide the best balance of comfortable daily drivability while still being able to feel confident in pushing it to its limits in the corners. Stopping power comes from a newly developed front and rear braking system from Wilwood Disk Brakes out of Southern California to make sure you’re fully equipped for safety and performance.
